It is our goal to be a loving, supportive and caring family, whose worship and ministry are based upon the Bible. The gifts of each member will be acknowledged, affirmed, developed, utilized and appreciated as we engage in holistic ministry that is involved in worship, preaching and teaching Bible truths, evangelism, fellowship, service, including economic empowerment and social justice.
We believe that our confession mixed with faith, confirmed by our works, will produce church growth.

Our Statement of Faith — the foundational truths upon which Fullness of Joy Ministries stands.
We believe in the inspired, infallible, inerrant Word of God.
Jesus Christ is God with us, God manifested in the flesh, the Son of God and Savior of the world.
Salvation is received and maintained by grace through repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, and obedience to His Commandments.
The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, incorporates us into the body of Christ, gives us spiritual gifts and ministry gifts, enables us to be witnesses, and empowers believers for victorious living.
The Church is called to proclaim the Gospel to all nations, and to introduce us to the Kingdom of God.
Jesus Christ, our Messiah and the Bridegroom, will return again for His bride, the Church, and to make war with the nations that reject Him.

Bishop of NY & NJ · Christ For The World International Fellowship
Bishop David S. Butler spent his childhood in Harlem and in Brownsville, Brooklyn. He attended LaGuardia High School of Music and Art where he participated in the Debate Club, Junior Chorus, Senior Chorus and was the Captain of the Track and Cross Country Teams. At graduation he was awarded the Livingston Wingate Award for Athletics and was inducted as a member of the Music Honor League.
He attended the State University of N.Y. at Fredonia where he was a member of the Pierians (Oral Interpretation Club) and was nominated one year as the best actor. He was awarded a summer dance scholarship to Tanglewood, Massachusetts, and was the first president of the Black Student Union.
He attended New Brunswick Theological Seminary where he won a Ford Foundation Fellowship from the Fund for Theological Education, earned his M.Div. (magna cum laude) and received the Livingston Wingate Award for Urban Ministry at graduation. Since that time he has been awarded the Doctor of Divinity and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) through the C.I.C.A. University.
In 1980, he was ordained an elder in the Church of God in Christ. In 1984 he was consecrated as an ordained minister (or bishop) in the Church of God (Cleveland, Tn.) and served on the state council of N.Y. He became an ordained minister in the Reformed Church of America and is under the tutelage of Rev. John Jenkins and Apostle Bobby Hogan, the presider of the Christ For The World International Fellowship.
Bishop Butler serves full time as the pastor of Fullness Of Joy Ministries (est. Nov. 1999) and is the Bishop of N.Y. and N.J. for Christ For The World International Fellowship. He has received a call from God to do missions and has done missionary work in Israel, Jamaica, Cuba, Mexico, Philippines, Guyana, Uganda, and most recently Kenya and Ghana.
